CGGVeritas is a worldwide geophysical company that acquires and provides data for the exploration of oil and gas.  They can literally map out the structure of the earth underground in 3D and 4D.   Using specially-designed vibrator trucks and arrays of sound-sensing geophones, they create dynamic maps that are critical to geologists in the efficient exploration of hydrocarbons.

When the company set out to acquire data from the historically productive Elk Hills oilfield, Jim Zura spent a week onsite documenting this spectacular effort, resulting in a compelling 10-minute marketing video and a shorter music-only trade-show loop.
