When Ronald McDonald House - Houston celebrated their 25th Anniversary, they called upon Texas Production Team's Jim Zura for their video production needs.  Working with co-chairs Emily Crosswell and Diane Lane, along with their committee and the staff of Ward and Ames,  ....

The Hilton Americas Grand Ballroom was the site of this spcectacular event

Production Elements that Zura created and implemented included:
  • Produce an 18-minute "History Montage"- consisting of more than 300 visual elements and 8 music scores, played during dinner.
  • Produce a 6-minute "Underwriters Scroll".
  • Produce a 1-minute "Honorees Montage".
  • Provide and direct a 3-camera live shoot, switching between produced segments and live coverage for the IMAG projection screens.
  • Create a 16-minute "Highlights from the Gala" program.
The event was an enormous success.  In addition to sold-out paid attendance of more than 1200 and a silent auction, the main auction generated $336,000 for six items, including this hand-made quilt that went for over $200,000.
To produce the History Montage, Zura used the high-end TV editing systems Final Cut and Motion, to create constant, gentle motion to the still photographs and backgrounds, edited in time to the 8 music beds.

The Underwriters Scroll listed 127 contributors in 8 categories.   This production "looped" during seating and walk-out.

Photos of the special Honorees were featured on the big screen.

Diane Riley and Emily Crosswell co-chaired this awesome event.
